• Provide exceptional service to policyholders • Travel to customers’ homes to conduct on-site property inspections • Investigate coverage and review property damage • Prepare estimates and settle claims promptly and efficiently • Handle virtual claims countrywide using platforms such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and video chat, incorporating their communication preferences • Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims • Execute policies according to policy agreements • Maintain clear, timely, and accurate claim documentation in the claims system • Work a 10-days-on, 4-days-off schedule after training, with workdays ranging from 8 to 12 hours
• Candidates must live in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific Time Zones • Up to 90% out-of-town travel required • Valid driver’s license • Ability and willingness to carry a 50-pound ladder and access up to a 6/12 pitch on a one- to two-story roof • Must reside within a reasonable distance of a major airport • 2+ years of experience preparing property estimates • Prior experience as a Property Adjuster preferred • Proficiency with estimating software such as Xactimate • Strong commitment to exceptional customer service • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities • Proactive problem-solving skills • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills • Must obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license if required by the office/area, including an additional background check • Required license(s) must be secured within 60 days of hire, if applicable • Offered candidates must submit to a background investigation • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions • Appropriate desk and seating for working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
