📋 Description

• Write initial vehicle damage estimates as part of the NEST team • Review vehicle damage photos • Produce high-quality initial estimates in a fast-paced, high-production environment • Collaborate with body shops and customers • Apply understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices • Build relationships with internal and external customers • Create estimates for first- and third-party material damage losses • Understand the content of all policy types written by the company • Negotiate settlements • Make settlement payments • Document all activities in claim files within escalated authority limits • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in auto technical estimating skills • Solid understanding of vehicle repair procedures • Confidence negotiating with repair facilities • Experience with CCC and Microsoft applications • Candidates located in the Central Time Zone are highly preferred • Active insurance license highly preferred • Previous experience in the auto insurance industry strongly desired • Must possess authorization to work in the United States • Active insurance license holders must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and may not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must surrender it when instructed by the licensing team • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
