📋 Description

• Support the refinement of civil estimating processes and templates to improve accuracy and efficiency • Develop detailed civil cost estimates for solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects • Maintain estimating tools, historical cost data, and productivity assumptions • Prepare project cost estimates aligned with RFP requirements for utility-scale renewable energy projects • Collaborate with business development, engineering, and project delivery teams to evaluate opportunities and optimize costs • Identify project risks and support mitigation strategies • Participate in pre-bid meetings, client discussions, and estimate review sessions • Conduct site visits as needed and document findings to improve estimate quality and project planning

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in heavy civil construction, estimating, construction management, and/or project management • Knowledge of cost estimating practices and estimating software such as InEight or similar platforms • Experience using takeoff software such as Bluebeam, AgTek, or similar tools • Understanding of earthwork, foundations, roads, drainage, and site development activities • Experience preparing or supporting project estimates for construction projects • Experience supporting civil construction projects within commercial, renewable energy, or utility-scale solar environments • Experience working with field and engineering teams to improve estimating accuracy • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field • Experience leveraging generative AI to streamline workflows and improve outcomes • Not eligible for VISA Sponsorship
