📋 Description

• Review specifications and control schematics • Solicit pricing from subcontractors and equipment suppliers and follow up to obtain written quotes • Create detailed scope letters and proposals • Provide clear documentation on estimates and proposals • Provide accurate estimates and proposals • Partner with operations and engineering teams to provide solutions and pricing • Assist with contractor selection • Qualify opportunities and assist in developing bid strategy • Aid in pricing services for customers as an Estimator Specialist/Inside Sales member on the Global Strategic Accounts Team

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • 3+ years of Sales, Building Automation, HVAC, and/or Controls experience • Valid Driver’s License • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business, or related discipline • Ability to value engineer control designs with alternative solutions • Experience providing takeoffs of control schematics using software such as Bluebeam • Experience with sales tools and software, including CRM and estimating software such as Bid Tracer • Experience in the Data Center Market • Ability to solve moderate to challenging financial and accounting-related issues • Strong written and oral communication, analysis, organization, and time management skills • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and coworkers • Self-motivated with passion for continuous improvement • Capability to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment • Knowledge of presenting ideas and strategies clearly to diverse audiences, leadership, and decision makers
