📋 Description

• Create, develop, lead, and maximize the Asset Protection function for ALO sanctuaries across assigned Midwest districts and Canada • Analyze inventory shrink and develop strategies addressing external theft, internal theft, fraud, and operational errors • Drive shrink-reduction goals and communicate Asset Protection initiatives to field leadership and store teams • Assess high-shrink and high-risk sanctuaries and develop measurable action plans • Conduct risk, site-vulnerability, and physical-security assessments • Prepare monthly, quarterly, biannual, and annual Asset Protection summaries with KPI trend analysis • Use exception-based reporting, POS data, inventory reporting, RFID, CCTV, case-management systems, and AI-enabled tools for analysis and investigations • Identify, investigate, and resolve theft, fraud, organized retail crime, cash loss, merchandise loss, integrity concerns, and other loss-related conduct • Conduct interviews and prepare investigative reports, findings, and recommendations • Partner with Retail Operations, People & Culture, Legal, law enforcement, emergency services, security providers, and industry organizations • Manage physical-security systems, training, third-party security providers, post orders, and security resources • Support new sanctuary openings through security assessments, system readiness, and training • Respond to incidents including workplace violence, threats, robbery, burglary, vandalism, and severe operational events • Provide guidance during elevated security or safety situations and support corrective and preventive actions • Coach and educate store teams on Asset Protection, theft prevention, fraud prevention, workplace safety, and incident reporting • Promote integrity, accountability, safety, and responsible technology use

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and professional experience in retail Asset Protection, loss prevention, investigations, law enforcement, private security, risk management, or a related discipline • Minimum of five years of multi-unit, field-based Asset Protection or loss-prevention experience • Minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience supporting multiple locations • Experience conducting internal and external theft, fraud, and integrity investigations • Strong analytical ability and experience translating reporting and data into loss-reduction and risk-mitigation strategies • Proficiency using AI-enabled technology for analysis, investigations, productivity, and strategic decision-making • Ability to critically assess AI-generated information and apply professional judgment • Excellent written, verbal, interviewing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to build relationships with internal and external partners • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and operate independently in a fast-paced organization • Ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly, objectively, and diplomatically • Proficiency with Asset Protection applications, CCTV platforms, POS reporting, RFID, case-management tools, Shopify, and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, and PowerPoint • Familiarity with applicable Canadian privacy, surveillance, security, employment, and workplace-safety requirements is preferred • Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with company personnel, third-party security providers, and law-enforcement partners • Ability to learn new technologies, skills, methodologies, and industry best practices • Ability to respond to store emergencies and maintain accessibility • Ability to travel extensively throughout the Midwest and Canada, including overnight and weekend travel, up to approximately 80% of the time • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
