📋 Description
• Lead or support classification and compensation studies for public school districts • Review job descriptions, salary schedules, and organizational structures for certificated, classified, and/or administrative roles • Conduct market surveys against peer districts and relevant labor markets • Analyze internal equity, compression, and competitiveness • Develop or revise job families, classifications, grades, and salary schedules • Prepare fiscal-impact and phased implementation options • Present findings to superintendents, boards, HR leadership, and employee groups as requested • Contribute technical content to AlphaGov proposals and scopes of work
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years compensation, classification, or HR consulting with meaningful K-12 / public education work • Direct experience completing class/comp or administrator compensation studies for school districts or comparable education agencies • Strong writing, presentation, and stakeholder facilitation skills • Advanced Excel or comparable tools
