📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic lead for the Association’s signature Walk to End Alzheimer’s event • Provide field support, training, and resources for staff and volunteers • Develop strategies to grow teams and fundraising revenue • Participate as a member of the Home Office Walk to End Alzheimer’s team overseeing revenue growth and strategies • Oversee the national Walk to End Alzheimer’s program, including training, resources, and strategies for the Chapter network and volunteers • Develop and deliver training and consultation to Territories, Chapters, and Cohorts • Work with field teams to deliver training, identify opportunities, and develop growth plans, strategies, and tactics within event standards and best practices • Develop nationwide, regional, and local training plans for staff and volunteers • Manage and deliver comprehensive training curricula, including web-based tools, specialty programs, and weekly sessions • Lead consulting and training efforts with assigned Walk programs • Lead nationwide onboarding and training curriculum development, including face-to-face training, web-based training, resources, and support • Monitor, evaluate, and identify growth opportunities during planning and ongoing operations • Analyze quantitative and qualitative results and determine strategies based on findings • Oversee all Walk to End Alzheimer’s resources and materials • Report to the Senior Director, Walk to End Alzheimer’s

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • 10+ years of national or regional event management and training experience in a non-profit environment • Experience implementing a $1M+ Walk • Experience recruiting C-suite leaders to lead a Walk • Experience selling top-level sponsorships • 5+ years of experience managing and coaching staff • Organized Walk event experience • Ability to adapt program experience to the organization • Ability to interface with all levels of staff and volunteers • Ability to multitask, establish priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Ability to handle diversified assignments and adapt to changing circumstances • Excellent written, oral, and communication skills, including presentation delivery, conveying ideas, and effective instruction • Ability to work and make judgments independently and take initiative • Self-starter requiring little supervision • Understanding of computer systems and databases • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Experience with Luminate is a major plus • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
