📋 Description

• Support the academic community of marketers within the American Marketing Association • Provide administrative support for the Academic Communities team • Deliver community-driven events • Support volunteer leaders • Foster a sense of home, fellowship, and camaraderie among academics • Maintain and manage Special Interest Group (SIG) webpages • Assist with SIG budgets and financial management, including payments, reimbursements, and invoices • Support planning and logistics for the 2027 Winter Academic, Virtual Winter Academic, Summer Academic, and Marketing and Public Policy conferences • Respond to attendee inquiries with the Manager, Academic Communities, and Customer Support team • Help execute Conference and SIG awards processes • Assist the Senior Copy Editor with conference proceedings administration

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma • Enrolled at a 2-year or 4-year college/university • Customer service or volunteer management experience • Interest in event management, volunteer management, or association management • Experience in Google Suite • Keen eye for detail • Ability to work remotely 24 hours per week • Must live in AL, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, or WI • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship • F-1 visas are acceptable for internships
