📋 Description

• Lead complex data analysis and research activities • Transform large and diverse datasets into actionable insights • Support data-driven decision-making for Avar Consulting's contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) • Work with administrative claims and survey data • Apply statistical methodologies and advanced analytical techniques • Monitor data quality, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify issues, limitations, trends, and population characteristics • Prepare and manage large-scale datasets for analytical models • Develop data visualizations • Communicate complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant data analysis experience • Experience identifying, collecting, aggregating, manipulating, and processing complex datasets • Experience with administrative claims data and survey methodologies, including interpretation and evaluation of survey results • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods • Experience monitoring data quality, identifying deficiencies, and recommending improvements • Experience conducting exploratory data analysis to identify data issues, limitations, trends, and population characteristics • Experience preparing and managing large-scale datasets for statistical, financial, actuarial, clinical, or other analytical models • Proficiency in programming languages and analytical tools • Experience with Python, SQL, and/or R preferred • Demonstrated ability to apply advanced analytical methods, including statistical analysis and machine learning • Experience developing data visualizations and communicating complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
