📋 Description

• Deliver online lessons to undergraduate and/or graduate students • Initiate, facilitate, interact with, and moderate online classroom forums • Lead classes using the Community of Inquiry Framework • Evaluate and grade class work, assignments, and papers within policy timeframes • Provide effective feedback to guide student learning and success • Engage in the online classroom and reply to emails at least every other day, including one weekend day • Participate in professional development • Conduct scholarly research and participate in professional engagement activities • Attend discipline-specific and administrative meetings • Maintain discipline knowledge through professional communities • Support APU/AMU initiatives and departments

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Religion or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution is required • College-level teaching experience is required • Online teaching experience is preferred • Record of excellence in teaching • Upload a CV and a copy of unofficial transcripts, master's degree and above • Foreign degrees require a course-by-course evaluation by a NACES-approved agency • Complete the Engaging the First-Year Student Certification course (APUS110) within six months of hire • Graduate Faculty must complete the Graduate Faculty Certification (APUS501) within 90 days of hire • Comply with APU/AMU policies, handbooks, and course assignments • Work in a remote, professional working environment
