📋 Description

• Independently conduct virtual and/or physical audits on assigned policyholder accounts • Complete a minimum of 420 interim and/or final audits on policyholder accounts per year • Organize and manage a geographic territory of policyholder accounts • Schedule and complete audits virtually or at a location designated by the policyholder • Complete interim audits within 90 days of policy inception and final audits within 60 days of policy expiration • Examine accounting, payroll, tax, job description, and contractor insurance records • Research and substantiate policy classifications, officer inclusions/exclusions, subcontractors, and related details • Prepare detailed and accurate descriptions of policyholder operations • Prepare audit reports showing analyzed data, calculations, and classifications • Synchronize accounts with the home office to retrieve completed audits routinely • Travel routinely for physical audits, including some overnight travel • Foster AMERISAFE culture through consistency, focus, frugality, ownership, and service

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar Auditing role, Accounting or Workers Compensation preferred • Strong organizational and time management skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions or recommendations for action • Excellent customer service skills • Strong sense of self-motivation and the ability to work independently from home and in the field • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history and reliable transportation • Must live in or be willing to relocate to the territory • Ability to travel routinely for physical audits, including some overnight travel • Must complete pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check and 10-panel drug test; motor vehicle report review if applicable
