📋 Description

• Lead software engineering functions across AmeriSave technology teams • Develop and execute technology strategy aligned with business objectives • Oversee engineering leaders responsible for Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Enterprise Technology • Drive large-scale platform modernization and architectural initiatives • Establish engineering standards, governance, and development best practices • Lead AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives • Partner closely with Executive Leadership to identify strategic technology opportunities • Ensure scalability, security, compliance, and reliability across all platforms • Build and mentor high-performing engineering management teams • Drive delivery excellence, innovation, and operational efficiency throughout the organization • Evaluate emerging technologies and make strategic investment recommendations • Own engineering budget planning, resource allocation, and organizational growth

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience • 8+ years leading large engineering organizations • Proven success leading Directors, VPs, and Engineering Managers • Deep hands-on experience with modern software architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, and microservices • Strong technical background with Java, TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, and enterprise application development • Experience leading AI and automation initiatives • Track record building highly scalable customer-facing and operational platforms • Demonstrated success aligning technology investments with measurable business outcomes • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills • High-speed internet required for remote work • Cable or Fiber ONLY with the ability to connect via Ethernet • Minimum internet speeds: 70/30 Mbps (basic), 200-300/35-70 Mbps (shared), 500-1,000/100+ Mbps (heavy use) • Mortgage, fintech, banking, or high-volume transaction experience • Experience leading remote and distributed engineering organizations • MBA and/or advanced technical degree • Experience with digital customer acquisition and marketing technology
