📋 Description

• Lead digital innovation across Amgen Manufacturing globally • Identify manufacturing opportunities where digital products, data, analytics, and AI can create value • Set and manage the digital manufacturing innovation portfolio • Lead initiatives from ideation and pilots through supported deployment, adoption, and network expansion • Establish product teams, business ownership, reliable data, effective solutions, and measurable results for priorities • Lead a global team and collaborate with manufacturing sites, Digital Site Leaders, product owners, Engineering, Process Development, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Technology, AI and Data, and Amgen India delivery teams • Set the global DMI roadmap and prioritize digital, data, analytics, AI, and automation opportunities • Define manufacturing needs, outcomes, roadmaps, delivery priorities, testing, release readiness, user experience, support, and lifecycle ownership • Establish data ownership, stewardship, common definitions, data quality standards, and integration across manufacturing systems • Set priorities for AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, and generative AI in manufacturing • Plan deployment waves, readiness, training, launch support, stabilization, adoption, and value realization with sites and enterprise partners • Measure adoption, business impact, benefits, and sustained results • Build, lead, and develop a global team of digital product, data, and innovation professionals • Provide recommendations, escalations, trade-offs, decisions, risks, and progress updates to senior leaders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of Engineering, Operations, or Digital Technology experience OR Master’s degree and 7 years of Engineering, Operations, or Digital Technology experience OR Doctorate degree and 4 years of Engineering, Operations, or Digital Technology experience • Experience leading digital, data, or technology transformation across a global biopharmaceutical manufacturing network • Practical knowledge of GxP operations, validation, and data integrity • Experience taking digital products or AI and analytics solutions from concept to supported production and multi-site use • Experience establishing business data ownership and stewardship, common definitions, data quality standards, and integration across manufacturing systems and enterprise platforms • Experience applying AI, machine learning, generative AI, or predictive analytics to manufacturing • Experience with readiness testing, human oversight, and ongoing monitoring • Demonstrated people leadership, talent development, portfolio management, and coordination across global teams and delivery partners • Strong business and financial judgment, change leadership, and continuous improvement skills • Executive communication, negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills • Flexibility to work across regions and time zones and travel as business needs require • Sponsorship for this role is not guaranteed
