📋 Description

• Serve as the primary customer contact and liaison for medical professionals • Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen products • Communicate clinical and economic product benefits to medical professionals • Create and execute comprehensive territory plans • Deliver branded sales messages and execute planned programs • Schedule and follow up on medical educational programs • Achieve or exceed territory sales targets • Service and manage accounts, including ensuring product access • Resolve or triage reimbursement issues and maintain product contracts • Craft marketing strategies to drive sales • Analyze sales activity effectiveness and territory performance • Develop territory plans with the District Manager • Partner with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous learning • Leverage oncology and disease-state awareness, industry, regulatory, and competitive changes to deliver results

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare or a scientific field • Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare or a scientific field • High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare or a scientific field • Preferred experience in Oncology • Three or more years of sales and/or marketing experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industries preferred • Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases preferred • Local market knowledge preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration preferred • Planning and organizing • Leveraging business, industry, and technical knowledge • Communicating with impact • Driving for results • Cultivating internal and external relationships • Relocation is not offered for this role
