📋 Description

• Support product discovery by researching user needs, documenting workflows, and synthesizing interview, survey, and product data feedback • Translate business problems and user needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and product documentation • Assist with backlog refinement, sprint planning, user acceptance testing, and release-readiness activities • Analyze product usage, operational data, and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and improvements • Prepare presentations, status updates, and recommendations for product and cross-functional stakeholders • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, data teams, business partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered digital capabilities • Support Amgen’s mission by helping improve digital products for colleagues and patients

🎯 Requirements

• Expected completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university before the internship begins • Expected continued enrollment in an accredited college or university after the internship • Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship • Must be available to work a full-time schedule • Must be available to accept and commit to future full-time employment by July 2028, if offered • 18 years or older • Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited college or university • Minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent • Preferred degree concentrations: Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field • Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or health care industry experience preferred • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Strong project management, analytical, and quantitative skills • Proficient in one coding language: Python, Java, Scala, or SQL • Coursework in business systems analysis, Lean, Agile/SCRUM, SDLC processes, software development, database modeling, web design and development, IT management, cloud-based application management, B2B collaboration, ERP, or CRM systems • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program • Sponsorship for future full-time roles is not guaranteed
