📋 Description

• Provide specialized, IEP-driven instruction across academic, behavioral, and functional domains • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with student IEP goals and individual learning needs • Assess student progress and maintain accurate data, reports, and compliance documentation • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, school staff, and families • Utilize instructional strategies to support student access to the general education curriculum when appropriate • Create and maintain a structured, supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and positive behavior • Support students with daily living skills, including toileting, feeding, mobility, and health-related needs, as required by the assigned classroom • Ensure compliance with state and district guidelines for IEP development, timelines, and implementation

🎯 Requirements

• Hold a valid Georgia Professional Educator Certificate in Special Education, or be eligible to obtain Georgia certification • Bachelor's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills • School-based experience preferred but not required
