• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance management program • Establish an audit framework and update and create compliance policies and procedures • Monitor and report on compliance performance and program health • Facilitate and manage vendor, state, and client audits • Conduct routine compliance risk assessments and business analysis, and implement corrective action plans • Conduct quarterly audits of privacy compliance and security • Ensure vendors meet audit compliance and performance standards • Analyze contracts for adherence to client requirements and regulatory standards • Assist in drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal agreements • Oversee the organization’s SOC I and II compliance program • Develop and implement processes to maintain SOC II certification • Interpret changing regulations, laws, and industry best practices • Provide guidance on compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies • Partner with business management and stakeholders to communicate compliance requirements • Assist with compliance training for internal departments and organizational leadership • Respond to state and client inquiries regarding the compliance program and initiatives • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Law, or related field, or equivalent experience • Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or operational quality control • Demonstrated ability to interpret and simplify complex legal and regulatory information • Strong understanding of regulations affecting the automotive finance and titling industry preferred • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) • Experience with SOC I and II compliance and related frameworks • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including persuasive writing • Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification • Goal-oriented, organized, and effective team player • Ability to execute duties successfully and with high quality within required timeframes to meet business needs
