📋 Description

• Support development of RF/microwave designs for communications, test and measurement instrumentation, industrial, and aerospace and defense applications • Develop world-class RF/microwave/millimeter-wave GaAs and GaN LNA, driver amplifier, and power amplifier MMICs • Perform MMIC design and layout • Conduct electromagnetic simulation and thermal analysis • Apply industry-standard EDA tools to amplifier MMIC design • Design microwave and millimeter-wave circuits and systems • Use RF/microwave test equipment and measurement techniques • Collaborate with RF and microwave professionals and engineering teams • Contribute to innovative semiconductor solutions for Analog Devices’ applications

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with GaAs and/or GaN semiconductor technologies • Experience with MMIC design and layout • Experience with electromagnetic simulation • Experience with thermal analysis • Experience using industry-standard EDA tools such as ADS, Momentum, RFPro, and Sonnet • MSEE or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with a background in RF/microwave engineering • Minimum 10+ years of experience; relevant PhD thesis experience may count toward industry experience • Must be a US citizen or green card holder • Proficiency with Cadence, ADS, AWR, Ansys HFSS, Sonnet, Momentum, RFPro, and related EDA tools • Knowledge of GaAs and/or GaN device physics and modeling • Microwave/millimeter-wave circuit and system design experience • Proficiency with RF/microwave test equipment and measurement techniques, including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and power meters • Excellent teamwork and communication skills • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time
