📋 Description

• Turn engineering knowledge into reproducible benchmarks, reference architectures, trusted documentation, and a developer community • Write code continuously, including multi-node training reference implementations, preflight scripts, and orchestration framework integrations • Create technical content including benchmarks, deep-dive posts, performance write-ups, publishable postmortems, and reference architectures • Own developer documentation end to end, including quickstarts, Slurm/Kubernetes/direct SSH orchestration guides, storage and checkpointing patterns, and troubleshooting runbooks • Manage public developer channels, GitHub presence, and office hours • Build example repositories, container images, reference configurations, and integrations with existing frameworks and schedulers • Work with the solutions team on customer onboardings and incidents • Collaborate with product engineers on fixes and turn workload learnings into public artifacts • File bugs, advocate for roadmap changes, and build missing pieces • Create partner and provider enablement materials, integration guides, and onboarding documentation • Report to the Head of Product and help define the developer relations function • Improve time-to-first-successful-run, documentation adoption, developer community participation, customer/partner integrations, and developer experience changes

🎯 Requirements

• Experience running distributed training or large-scale inference in production • Experience debugging stalled multi-node runs and distinguishing fabric problems from dataloader problems • Strong Python skills • Go or Bash is a plus • Production-grade tools and libraries development and repository ownership • Fluency with PyTorch, NCCL, containers, Kubernetes and/or Slurm, CUDA-adjacent tooling, and at least one serving framework such as vLLM, SGLang, or TensorRT-LLM (or equivalent) • Excellent technical writing • Public technical work such as blog posts, benchmarks, open-source contributions, owned documentation, or talks • Judgment about which developer artifacts to build • Ability to ship in ambiguity and define what good looks like • Experience with external engineering teams, solutions architecture, professional services, deployed engineering, or technical account ownership is a strong-candidate qualification • Performance engineering depth is a strong-candidate qualification • This is an individual contributor role
