📋 Description

• Own and manage all aspects of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for specific business lines or departments • Ensure financial accuracy and accountability for all P&L items • Lead annual budget and forecast development and execution with department heads and teams • Track actual expenses against projections • Provide financial analysis and insights across business units • Prepare detailed reports on trends, cost control, and operational efficiency • Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results with forecasts and budgets • Provide recommendations to senior management • Support long-term strategic planning through financial models, scenario analysis, and forecasting • Identify cost reductions and efficiency improvements • Implement cost-saving initiatives cross-functionally • Partner with business leaders to align financial performance with business goals • Develop and maintain KPIs • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in FP&A • Experience in-house at a tech company, combined with investment banking, private equity, consulting, or analytics experience is ideal • Proficiency in financial analysis, financial modeling, and problem-solving • Ability to build complex financial models from scratch • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and projections • Autonomous self-starter able to exercise sound judgment, deal effectively with ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-moving environment • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership • Experience with PBCS or Essbase strongly desired • NetSuite, SQL, and/or Looker are additional nice-to-haves
