📋 Description

• Provide senior management oversight and technical leadership for management and continuous improvement of a client’s enterprise-wide Hazardous Materials and Regulated Waste database • Mentor current HazTrax personnel and support knowledge transfer to the HazTrax team • Provide leadership support in responding to emergent HazTrax system issues • Review and update HazTrax guidance and training documentation • Support transition and enterprise-wide rollout of HazTrax mobile scanners, including testing, validation, deployment planning, and training • Collaborate routinely with the external customer to implement and execute the agreed work statement • Report activity and progress on the work statement as directed • Work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve database management results • Coordinate with the Apex client relationship manager to complete the work statement within budget • Provide input on potential new EHS projects arising from execution of the work statement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related scientific field • 3+ years of relevant experience • Experience with hazardous materials and regulated waste database management • Knowledge of hazardous materials accountability, tracking, storage, inventory, and point-of-use consumption • Knowledge of hazardous waste tracking • Familiarity with Electronic Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Inventory and HazCom Compliance • Familiarity with Gatekeeping (BENCh) and Material Authorized Use Lists • Familiarity with Procurement and Ariba Interface • Familiarity with receiving, tracking, quality assurance receiving and inspection, TATS monitoring, and material traceability • Familiarity with repackaging, labeling, GHS labeling, hazard warnings, warehousing, and floor inventory • Familiarity with hazardous waste inspections and dated waste drum management • Familiarity with TSCA export control flags • Familiarity with SSARA and chemical facility anti-terrorism standards • Familiarity with EPA regulatory compliance reporting, including SARA 311, 312, 313, and GHG • Familiarity with jurisdictional permitting, NESHAPS, air and building permitting • Familiarity with the Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act and 40 CFR 372 • Basic technical skillset in Industrial Hygiene desirable • Ability to work independently and produce results within budget and timeframe
