📋 Description

• Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate address verification and safety and well-being assessments to clients • Complete individualized safety assessments with attention to culture, language, and special circumstances • Apply a trauma-informed approach to support families in building trust through safety, connection, and self-regulation • Maintain high-standard records according to Applied Intellect and AI/ICE policies and procedures using the UAC Portal and internal software systems • Travel long distance nationwide, with 80% travel and limited notice • Provide information, education, referrals, resources, and support to clients • Assess placement safety and appropriateness through interviews and home visits using child welfare principles and social work best practices • Maintain confidentiality regarding youth and all program information • Submit timely case notes, assessments, and reports using ICE documentation software and Applied Intellect’s internal case-monitoring system • Coordinate and maintain communication with key stakeholders • Participate in regular training and communication sessions via Teams, Zoom, or other required platforms • Display professional conduct and respectful interactions with children, coworkers, supervisors, ICE representatives, vendors, and community members • Report to the Field Supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in the state of New Jersey, preferably within driving distance of a major airport • Bachelor’s degree in social work, behavioral science, or social services • At least two years’ progressive experience in social services, case management, or child welfare • Skilled at writing professional, thorough assessment reports • Extensive knowledge of immigrant community local resources is desired • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Appropriate workspace for documentation, client phone calls, and video conferencing • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Teams • Ability to type and be computer literate • Comfortable using a tablet/iPad or laptop for daily assignments • Fluency in Spanish is preferred; proficiency in additional languages is a plus • Commitment to comply with mandatory state reporting requirements for child abuse and neglect • Valid driver’s license, insurance, clean driving record, and reliable transportation, if required • Successful completion of DHS/ICE Preliminary Fitness Screening and Suitability Determination • Federal background checks initiated upon employment, if required • Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary team • Possess or be able to obtain CPR and basic first aid certification • Must adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations • Must follow company and Federal Contract Requirement policies and procedures • Satisfactory completion of Applied Intellect’s Orientation and Training • Satisfactory completion of DHS/ICE-required trainings upon hire and annually • Ability to meet stated physical demands, including occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
