📋 Description

• Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate address verification and safety and well-being assessments • Complete individualized safety assessments with attention to culture, language, and special circumstances • Apply a trauma-informed approach to support families in building trust • Maintain records according to Applied Intellect and ICE policies using the UAC Portal and internal software • Travel long distances nationwide, with limited notice • Provide information, education, referrals, resources, and support to clients • Assess placement safety and appropriateness through interviews and home visits • Maintain confidentiality regarding youth and program information • Submit case notes, assessments, and reports using ICE and Applied Intellect documentation systems • Coordinate communication with key stakeholders • Participate in training and communication sessions using Teams, Zoom, or other platforms • Maintain professional and respectful interactions with clients, coworkers, supervisors, ICE representatives, vendors, and community members • Report to the Field Supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, behavioral science, or social services • At least two years’ progressive experience in social services, case management, or child welfare • Experience in child welfare, child placements, family preservation, and social service provision desired • Skilled at writing professional, thorough assessment reports • Extensive knowledge of immigrant community local resources desired • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment • Remote workspace suitable for documentation, client phone calls, and video conferencing • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Teams • Ability to type and be computer literate • Comfortable using a tablet/iPad or laptop for daily assignments • Fluency in Spanish preferred; additional languages a plus • Commitment to mandatory state reporting requirements for child abuse and neglect • Valid driver’s license, insurance, clean driving record, and reliable transportation if required • Successful completion of DHS/ICE Preliminary Fitness Screening and Suitability Determination • Federal background checks upon employment if required • Ability to work cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams • Possess or be able to obtain CPR and basic first aid certification • Adherence to state and federal laws and regulations • Adherence to company and Federal Contract Requirement policies and procedures • Satisfactory completion of Applied Intellect’s orientation, DHS/ICE trainings, and additional required training • Ability to meet stated physical demands, including occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
