📋 Description

• Communicate with patients and physicians to schedule medical appointments and diagnostic procedures • Verify physician orders and schedule patients in a timely manner • Operate and utilize client scheduling systems • Provide patients with necessary information about scheduled appointments • Update patient accounts in multiple client systems • Perform other scheduling functions as needed • Communicate with patients and physician staff • Verify patient demographics and insurance • Multitask while maintaining excellent customer service • Transcribe physician orders for scheduling • Adhere to departmental and client production standards • Handle medical records accurately and confidentially in compliance with HIPAA, federal, state, and company requirements • Perform other duties assigned by the manager

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required) • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (preferred) • 1 year of call center experience • 2 years of radiology/medical specialty scheduling experience • 1 year of medical terminology knowledge or experience • CPAR certification preferred • Working knowledge of medical terminology, insurance plans, and EMRs • EPIC or Meditech experience • Basic computer/PC and internet skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Customer service skills with heavy phone contact and client interface • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and maintain focus under pressure • Organization, multitasking, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills • Ability to maintain a 95% monthly average call QA score • Dedicated quiet, distraction-free work area • Ability to work on a computer for the scheduled shift and use multiple screens and systems simultaneously • Required to be on camera 100% of the time during the scheduled shift • Ability to occasionally stand or walk and lift/move up to 25 pounds • Bilingual skills listed as preferred
