• Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate address verification and safety and well-being assessments to clients • Complete individualized safety assessments with attention to culture, language, and special circumstances • Apply a trauma-informed approach to support families in building trust through safety, connection, and self-regulation • Maintain records according to Applied Intellect and AI/ICE policies using the UAC Portal and internal software systems • Travel long distances nationwide, with limited notice; travel is approximately 80% • Provide information, education, referrals, resources, and support to clients • Assess placement safety and appropriateness through interviews and home visits using child welfare principles and social work best practices • Maintain confidentiality, including information regarding youth • Submit case notes, assessments, and reports timely using ICE documentation software and Applied Intellect’s internal case-monitoring system • Coordinate and maintain communication with key stakeholders • Participate in regular training and communication sessions via Teams, Zoom, or other required platforms • Interact professionally and respectfully with children, coworkers, supervisors, ICE representatives, vendors, and community members • Report to the Field Supervisor
• A bachelor's degree in social work, behavioral science, or social services with at least two years’ progressive experience in social services, case management, child welfare • Experience in child welfare, child placements, family preservation and social service provision is desired • Skilled at writing professional, thorough assessment reports • Extensive knowledge of immigrant community local resources is desired • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment • Remote candidate must have an appropriate workspace for documentation, client phone calls, and video conferencing • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Teams • Ability to type and be computer literate • Comfortable using a tablet/iPad or laptop to complete daily assignments • Fluency in Spanish is preferred; additional languages are a plus • Commitment to comply with mandatory state reporting requirements for child abuse and neglect • Valid driver’s license, insurance, clean driving record, and reliable transportation, if required • Successful completion of DHS/ICE Preliminary Fitness Screening and Suitability Determination and federal background checks, if required • Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary team • Possess or be able to obtain CPR and basic first aid certification • Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations • Follow company and Federal Contract Requirement policies and procedures • Satisfactory completion of Applied Intellect’s Orientation and Training • Satisfactory completion of DHS/ICE-required training upon hire and annually • Ability to meet stated physical demands, including occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
