📋 Description

• Deliver specialized New Product Introduction technical training in-house and at customer locations • Manage classroom and lab activities, meet course objectives, and follow safety procedures • Deliver training during assigned off-shift hours and weekends • Learn and maintain technical knowledge of new and improved products • Disseminate new information, complete certifications, and certify others • Establish certification requirements • Follow the Product Development Process for NPI products at Phase Gate 3 or earlier • Create and augment documentation, evaluate instructor performance, and oversee course design approval • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for system repairs and training-system functionality • Inform customers about Global Technical Training courses and products and assist with customer relationships and sales • Analyze customer issues to identify future training opportunities and present training solutions • Coach and mentor less senior instructors • Anticipate, prevent, and resolve customer satisfaction issues • Manage projects and direct project team members • Support Early Learning System/Alpha Site engineering and communicate with the field • Assist Global Product Support with documentation • Develop procedures and Best Known Methods • Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing on first chamber builds and new product final testing • Develop technical materials with Instructional Designers • Observe technical activities, interview personnel, study technical documents, and review published materials • Communicate with Business Units for product information and represent Global Technical Training at NPI meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree in engineering, education, or training, or equivalent military experience, plus 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience • If no bachelor’s degree, 6 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience • Experience in installation, programming, safety, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor machinery equipment • Ability to follow manuals, specifications, blueprints, and schematics • Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment • 2 years of formal or informal experience in education, performance-based training, or training/presentation delivery to external customers is desirable • Preferred: nationally recognized certification in Instructional Design or 2 years of curriculum development and/or instructional design experience • Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills • Resourceful, able to work and learn independently • Highly self-motivated and dedicated professional • Microsoft Office skills • Semiconductor equipment skills in operations, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, alignments, calibrations, and system-level troubleshooting on analog/digital electronics • Ability to travel up to 35% per year, including domestic and international travel • Knowledge of MS Windows applications and computer networking is a plus • Experience in e-Learning, videography/photography, and advanced technologies (AR, VR, CGI) is a plus/highly desired
