📋 Description

• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting accounting records • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and other routine accounting transactions • Perform bank, credit card, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment-related processes • Prepare account analyses, financial schedules, and management reports • Investigate discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly • Maintain organized documentation and supporting schedules for financial transactions • Assist with audit, tax, compliance, and other financial information requests • Apply established accounting policies, internal controls, and confidentiality standards • Collaborate with internal teams to obtain information and resolve accounting questions • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, accuracy, documentation, and efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred • 2+ years of accounting experience preferred • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and fundamental accounting principles • Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or comparable spreadsheet applications • Experience with accounting, ERP, or financial management systems • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
