📋 Description

• Lead analysis of current and future-state VHA business processes related to Elevated Risk Care Management • Design, develop, and implement improved business processes and workflows across VHA Medical Centers and VISNs • Diagnose operational problems through stakeholder interviews, data reviews, and process mapping • Deliver actionable recommendations to government leadership • Monitor redesigned processes post-implementation and develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to VHA program offices • Prepare and present reports, briefings, process documentation, and recommendations for senior VHA officials and federal contracting stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in health systems analysis, healthcare operations, or a related discipline • Master's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Health Policy, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required • Extensive hands-on experience working within or directly supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) • Familiarity with VHA Medical Center operations and Veterans Service Network (VISN) structures • Ability to obtain and maintain VA network access and a Position of Public Trust background investigation • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; U.S. citizenship may be required • Working knowledge of clinical and business process frameworks within the VHA • Experience supporting process analysis, redesign, or implementation initiatives at the program or enterprise level • Prior experience supporting VA mental health, suicide prevention, or behavioral health programs • Familiarity with VHA Elevated Risk Care Management policies, tools, and clinical workflows • Experience with the Patient Record Flag (PRF) system or High Risk for Suicide (HRS) care pathway • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or Human-Centered Design methodologies • Proficiency with VA data systems, electronic health record platforms, particularly VistA/CPRS or Oracle Health/Cerner, and business intelligence tools • Prior federal contracting experience in a Subject Matter Expert or senior advisor capacity • Ability to deliver analytical products to GS-14/15 or SES-level government clients
