📋 Description

• Define and communicate product vision and strategy • Translate product direction into a longer-term roadmap • Establish product management practices, operating rhythms, and agile ways of working • Improve prioritization, backlog management, planning, and decision-making • Guide the transition from a legacy desktop application to a modern, web-based product • Balance innovation, technical investment, customer commitments, and business priorities • Lead, coach, and develop a team of three Product Owners • Engage directly with customers to understand workflows, challenges, and priorities • Present product direction and incorporate customer feedback into strategy and planning • Partner with Development, Sales, Marketing, and industry leadership • Contribute product insight to positioning, packaging, pricing, strategic accounts, and growth discussions • Report to the CEO and connect product direction with customer needs, market opportunities, and business growth

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading a product team • Experience building product management structure, practices, and accountability • Experience coaching and developing Product Owners or Product Managers • Ability to provide practical, hands-on product guidance • Ability to translate customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives into product strategy and an actionable roadmap • Experience prioritizing competing needs and making thoughtful trade-offs • Understanding of agile principles, backlog management, roadmapping, prioritization, and product lifecycle practices • Experience engaging directly with customers and using insights to inform product decisions • Ability to present product direction and build credibility with customers and industry stakeholders • Cross-functional leadership experience across Development, Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams • Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to influence decisions and challenge assumptions constructively • Curiosity about specialized markets and emerging technologies • Interest in AI-assisted development and AI-enabled product practices • Curiosity and willingness to learn, experiment, and help teams adopt new ways of working
