📋 Description

• Deliver complete electrical engineering packages, including load calculations, single-line diagrams, panel and cable schedules, conduit and equipment sizing, and construction sets • Own power-system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, and related analysis using ETAP, SKM, or similar tools • Engineer medium- and low-voltage distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, and data center power architectures • Automate electrical calculations, equipment selection, system configuration, drawing generation, and engineering documentation • Build and refine parametric design engines that generate electrical deliverables from a single project template • Connect electrical design with mechanical and structural systems so engineering changes automatically propagate across disciplines • Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code to develop and ship workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of power systems, including power flow, fault behavior, protection, grounding, equipment behavior, and electrical-system trade-offs • Designed, built, tested, or commissioned real electrical or power systems • Ability to solve engineering problems from first principles • Ability to ship code with AI tools, even without prior software development experience • Exceptional ownership and ability to deliver technically sound solutions independently • Experience with power electronics, medium-voltage systems, industrial power distribution, substations, or first-of-a-kind electrical hardware is particularly interesting • PE license is helpful but not required • CS degree or traditional software background is not required • Direct data center, construction, or AEC experience is not required • Understanding of engineering principles rather than memorization of every engineering standard
