📋 Description

• Deliver structural engineering packages for live projects, including foundation design, steel and concrete structures, equipment supports, loading calculations, connection design, and construction documentation • Build parametric structural design workflows automating analysis, sizing, optimization, 3D modeling, and drawing generation • Integrate structural analysis tools such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD, or similar into automated workflows • Connect structural design with civil, electrical, and mechanical systems so equipment changes, loads, and site constraints update the structural design automatically • Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code to develop and ship the automation engine • Own structural engineering automation for data center and industrial projects

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of structural mechanics, including statics, dynamics, material behavior, load paths, stability, and failure modes • Experience designing, analyzing, or building real physical structures or complex load-bearing systems • Ability to work from first principles rather than relying entirely on established workflows or software outputs • Ability to ship code with AI tools, even without prior software engineering experience • Exceptional technical judgment and ownership • PE or SE license helpful but not required • Experience with first-of-a-kind structures, industrial systems, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, or other technically demanding physical products valued
