📋 Description

• Conduct assessments of damages from water intrusion, wind, vibration, impact, construction standard of care, and building envelope failure • Perform site and evidence inspections using 3D scanning technology and software • Conduct testing and failure analysis and collect corresponding data • Provide post-damage assessments, repair scopes, temporary support systems, repair analysis, and structural/foundation designs • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment • Prepare and deliver technical and educational presentations to clients and potential client groups • Present as a keynote speaker at technical conferences • Enhance professional and technical knowledge through continuing education, technical publications, and technical papers • Prepare technical reports of scientific findings and conclusions for laypersons • Support testimony during depositions and trials • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Civil, Mechanical, or similar Engineering disciplines • Professional Engineer (PE) license • 10+ years of previous forensic engineering and consulting experience or relevant industry experience • Strong background in, or willingness to learn, necessary computer programs to evaluate incidents • Strong problem-solving ability • Open-minded analytical skillset • Intense curiosity to investigate physical evidence • General Contractor license strongly preferred • Experience as an expert witness and testifying strongly preferred • Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
