📋 Description

• Design, build, and deploy scalable actuarial models, including IBNR, financial forecasting, risk adjustment, and pricing models • Integrate actuarial models with platform APIs and core engineering pipelines • Collaborate with Product, Delivery, and Engineering teams to inform domain context for the Arbital AI suite • Refine prompts, expand evaluation frameworks such as CADRE, provide Golden question/answer pairs, and ensure high-fidelity automated actuarial outputs • Embed actuarial best practices, professionalism, and validation standards into automated modeling tools and data pipelines • Lead rapid proof-of-concept builds to de-risk complex actuarial logic and test algorithmic approaches • Partner cross-functionally to translate healthcare data problems into scalable software solutions • Build scalable models within AI architecture and solve healthcare risk problems using emerging practices

🎯 Requirements

• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required; Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) preferred • 6+ years of healthcare actuarial experience working with data, including eligibility and claims, and building models • Strong hands-on coding skills in Python, R, and SQL • Demonstrated history of writing clean and reproducible code • Experience with Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development • Deep interest or experience leveraging generative AI, LLMs, PySpark, or cloud data infrastructure • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced technology organization • Ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts to other teams • Hands-on experience with PySpark, Databricks, or distributed computing frameworks is a bonus • Familiarity with modern AI architectures, such as RAG or OKF frameworks and model evaluation suites, is a bonus • Experience translating traditional actuarial logic into modern engineering languages is a bonus • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of employment • Must be able to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
