📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnoses • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications • Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation • Collaborate with therapists and other providers in an integrated care model • Depending on the site/partner practice, perform TMS cortical mappings • Depending on the site/partner practice, oversee staff technicians performing daily TMS treatments • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, TMS services if applicable, and ongoing outpatient treatment • Work within a collaborative, patient-centered care model

🎯 Requirements

• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) • Valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License pursuant to the laws of the state where healthcare services are provided • Valid and unrestricted license(s) to practice nursing pursuant to the laws of the state where healthcare services are provided • Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) number and all other licenses and certificates lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances • Minimum of 1 year of post-certification experience; outpatient preferred • Ability to function independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team • Ability to work productively and effectively • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Thorough knowledge of medical processes and procedures • Adequate/required Professional Liability Insurance policy • Compliance with prescription drug monitoring program regulations • Preferred: experience treating diverse age groups • Preferred: comfort with telepsychiatry • Preferred: knowledge of evidence-based medication protocols
