📋 Description

• Act as an extension of clients’ in-house teams, providing commercial contracts, regulatory, product, privacy, and general legal counseling • Review and negotiate high volumes of commercial agreements on tight turnaround • Clearly flag key obligations, risks, and anomalies for business stakeholders • Turn recurring work into playbooks, templates, and quality standards • Work with product and engineering to make the review platform faster and more accurate • Help scale contract review and legal operations • Deliver practical, business-first advice directly to customers • Help build tools and systems that make legal work faster and more scalable

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. and active bar membership in good standing • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law • Significant experience supporting technology companies • Experience as in-house counsel or as a sole legal counsel is required • Generalist experience across commercial, product, and privacy for SaaS, AI, robotics, or deep tech companies • Corporate or employment experience is a plus • Experience with, or real excitement about, AI-assisted legal workflows • Strong grounding in professional responsibility and legal ethics • Excellent written and verbal communication • Availability for at least 20 hours per week • Must be licensed to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction
