📋 Description

• Provide enterprise-wide operational leadership and flexible financial aid support across all Arizona College of Nursing campuses • Lead the National Team of Financial Aid Officers and supporting roles • Evaluate workload and capacity, and shift staff, caseloads, and priorities to campuses with the greatest need • Partner with Regional Directors of Financial Aid and campus leaders to stabilize coverage, address backlogs and vacancies, resolve escalations, and maintain consistent service • Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain a high-performing National Financial Aid team • Build a cross-trained team capable of supporting any campus and shifting priorities • Deliver technical and professional development through coaching, performance data, and quality assurance insights • Lead team meetings and one-on-one check-ins, provide feedback, reinforce accountability, and address performance or coverage gaps • Lead end-to-end financial aid support across all campuses and deploy National Team resources based on institutional need • Monitor staffing, workload, vacancies, backlogs, service levels, and compliance risk • Manage caseload distribution and temporary campus coverage • Maintain accurate and compliant student records in Anthology/Nexus and relevant federal systems • Oversee proactive student outreach by phone, email, and text • Maintain knowledge of Title IV, state, and institutional financial aid regulations • Conduct risk-based file reviews and internal audits, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective action • Ensure accurate documentation for awarding, packaging, verification, and disbursement activities • Collaborate with QA, Regional Directors, and campus leaders to resolve findings and strengthen compliance • Counsel students and families on federal aid, institutional loans, scholarships, agency assistance, and repayment strategies • Resolve escalated student and campus concerns • Partner with campus departments to remove barriers and promote student persistence and success • Standardize processes, share best practices, and lead cross-functional improvements • Travel to AZCN campuses for operational assessment, training, coaching, backlog reduction, and temporary leadership or hands-on support • Achieve established coverage, packaging, backlog, responsiveness, service-level, QA, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in higher-education financial aid administration • Strong working knowledge of Title IV regulations, financial aid operations, and financial aid systems • Minimum of 1-2 years of formal leadership experience or demonstrated leadership in a student services environment • High degree of professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion when handling confidential information • Ability to prioritize competing needs, manage multiple campuses or workstreams, and shift resources in a fast-paced environment • Strong student-service and campus-partnership mindset • Must be eligible to access the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% to AZCN campuses, including occasional short-notice travel • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university preferred • Financial literacy expertise, including familiarity with student loan repayment options and financial aid processes preferred • Experience with multi-campus operations, capacity planning, workload balancing, change management, or turnaround support preferred
