📋 Description

• Install and maintain Windows Server operating systems and related software • Administer activities for Windows Server operating systems to ensure and achieve high performance • Analyze and evaluate user requests for server and technical operations, services, and support • Assist in developing comprehensive policy and procedure documents for the open systems server infrastructure • Assist department teams with server management functions, including configuration, operations, installation, maintenance, and performance tuning of server hardware and software • Monitor daily system performance and inform management of system status against established performance guidelines • Perform technical duties as a department team member to enhance the function and availability of the open systems server environment • Apply strategic planning knowledge to maintain successful server management processes aligned with goals and objectives • Research and implement server components, including software, hardware, security, administration, policies, and procedures • Update reporting mechanisms based on project progression

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field; in lieu of degree, at least five (5) years of equivalent experience will be considered • Minimum three (3) years’ direct experience with server support and implementation, including maintaining and supporting Windows Server operating systems and client-server-based applications • Enterprise-level knowledge and experience configuring, tuning, monitoring, securing, and managing server software and hardware • Experience managing and maintaining IIS Web Server platform, application pools, and SSL certificates • Experience with Windows Failover Cluster, load-balancing, and Distributed File System • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows • Knowledge of IIS Web Server and application pools • SSL certificate management • HA/DR and Windows Failover Cluster • Distributed File System • MS SQL Server Administration • TCP/IP protocols • Domain Name System (DNS) • Storage virtualization • Disaster recovery • Project management • Technical expertise • Analytical problem solving, troubleshooting, detail orientation, interpersonal skills, leadership, multitasking, oral and written communications, and technical communication • Configuration management, continuous learning, directory services, documentation maintenance, Linux Server Administration, office software, scripting, server backups, technical project management, vulnerability management, web server administration, Windows Server management • Must work from home within Arkansas, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, North Dakota, or Minnesota
