📋 Description

• Lead the Programs Department on strategic and operational efforts across the full lifecycle of contract management • Enable growth, sustainability, and scalability of the Programs Department • Develop technical solution frameworks, policies, procedures, and other materials for Program Managers • Liaise with business development teams on proposals and new contracts, advising on technical solutions, staffing models, pricing, feasibility, risks, and mitigation strategies • Partner with Finance to build an estimate-at-completion process for budgeting, forecasting, and contract monitoring • Represent the Programs Department in cross-department working sessions and briefings • Serve as Transition Program Manager for new contracts, including scoping work, leading technical kickoffs, hiring contract staff, and developing transition deliverables and tools • Serve as interim or longer-term Program Manager on contracts when vacancies arise • Liaise with customers, headquarters departments, and teaming partners • Build relationships with government personnel, including CORs and government event leads • Solve complex tactical assignments and ensure client satisfaction • Create project management deliverables and oversee contract terms and teams • Manage contract risks, develop processes, and monitor quality • Design and execute administrative processes, including tracking deliverables and milestones • Facilitate bi-weekly status meetings and gather information for headquarters reporting • Conduct 30- and 60-day check-ins with new staff as backup • Manage and develop deliverables on IDIQ and government-wide acquisition contracts • Perform other special projects and duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 10-15+ years of applicable professional experience, including 5+ years of program management experience • Federal government contract program management experience • Strategic thinking skills and experience developing frameworks, policies, and procedures • Experience leading teams in dynamic, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environments • Excellent attention to detail • Critical problem-solving and contingency-planning skills • Client service and service delivery excellence skills • Ability to influence key stakeholders and clients • Background in risk management, quality management, and quality control • DoD experience preferred • IT program management experience preferred
