âą Lead startup and commissioning of Armstrong equipment, including Variable Frequency Drives and Control Panels âą Diagnose and repair pumps, automated valves, and other equipment âą Document field work through the online portal âą Provide on-site training to operators âą Share field service insights with the After Sales team âą Build customer relationships and demonstrate the value of Armstrong products âą Identify opportunities for additional sales âą Travel within the Western region up to 60% of the time, with occasional trips to other parts of the USA âą Handle service requests, complaints, and startup inquiries by phone and email âą Schedule and manage service visits âą Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation âą Train service and installation teams and mechanical contractors âą Compile and review field reports for equipment performance and warranty adherence âą Assist with connecting site equipment to the Internet or customer networks âą Collaborate with engineering, project management, and sales teams âą Identify and report product issues and contribute to process and design improvements
âą Degree or designation in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Applied Engineering, or a related field, with equivalent practical experience âą Experience with drives, control panels, BAS systems, and automation âą Familiarity with serial communications is a plus âą Proven experience with mechanical pumps and HVAC systems âą Proficiency in MS Office and strong software skills âą Experience in commercial construction is desirable âą Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical equipment âą Excellent verbal and written communication skills âą Understanding of hydronic HVAC systems, Variable Frequency Drives, automation, and Building Automation Controls is preferred âą Willingness and ability to travel within the Western region up to 60% of the time and occasionally elsewhere in the USA âą Ability to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
