📋 Description

• Support and help lead tax due diligence for middle-market buy-side and sell-side transactions • Conduct diligence across income tax, sales tax, property tax, payroll tax, and unclaimed property • Prepare and present due diligence reports • Analyze deal structures and develop tax-efficient structuring recommendations • Support post-transaction integration • Handle tax compliance engagements for individuals, corporations, and partnerships • Perform initial review of tax senior, tax staff, and intern work products • Serve as a key client point of contact for the firm • Identify opportunities for value-added client services • Coach and mentor staff • Anticipate, identify, and help resolve complex tax-technical issues • Manage internal and external expectations regarding project deliverables and deadlines • Conduct tax research and advise on tax matters

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field • 3+ years of corporate tax experience • Experience with C and S-Corps, and partnerships • Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills • Self-motivator with the ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines • A strong desire toward career advancement and goal toward future firm ownership • Licensed CPA or Attorney (preferred) • Strong background in individual, corporate, and partnership taxation (preferred) • Consultative/Advising Experience (preferred) • Knowledge of CCH Axcess Tax (preferred)
