📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day operations of assigned accounting areas, including processing transactions, analysis and reporting, and resolution of escalated issues • Balance cost, efficiency, and service delivery in handling transactions and organizational requests • Develop, implement, and continuously improve policies, procedures, processes, and templates • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control standards • Examine operational policies and recommend process improvements and regulatory-compliance enhancements • Resolve escalated or complex associate issues requiring managerial intervention or involving other process areas • Report on Service Level Agreement metrics and emphasize key performance indicators for general accounting • Meet or exceed contractual service level agreements and manage General Accounting costs • Monitor the regulatory environment and recommend policy, plan, and process modifications • Manage accounting reporting requirements and use reporting tools to identify problems and propose resolutions

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required • Licensure required relevant to the state in which work is performed • Accountant preferred • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred • Full-time Monday-Friday schedule
