📋 Description

• Monitor and manage daily mainframe job schedules using CA ESP to ensure timely and accurate completion of critical batch processing cycles • Respond to user problems and system alerts by providing effective, timely technical resolutions • Independently troubleshoot application problems, including job abends, batch failures, and scheduling conflicts • Analyze operational workflows to automate repetitive mainframe tasks and optimize scheduling configurations • Write and maintain documentation for operational procedures, system standards, and rerun instructions • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, providing coverage every third week for 24/7 operational support

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required • Hands-on experience with CA ESP, CA View/Deliver, or similar mainframe workload automation and scheduling tools • Working knowledge of Mainframe z/OS and JCL • Experience automating processes using scripting languages such as REXX, CLIST, or JCL scripting • Ability to provide rotating on-call support every third week
