📋 Description

• Lead and plan accounting activities for a variety of clients • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients • Ensure proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures • Oversee a Senior Accountant as needed • Own the month-end close, including journal entries, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple entities • Produce financial reporting packages, including dashboard and KPI reporting • Oversee payroll processes • Support year-end audit and tax engagements • Work with startups, scale-ups, private companies, and VC- and PE-backed companies across multiple industries

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years experience as an Accounting Manager • Understanding of GAAP • Working knowledge of tax filings such as 1099s and sales tax forms • Bachelor's Degree required • 1+ years of experience managing small accounting teams • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, clients, and entities at once • Passion for collaboration and excellent client service • Must reside in Colorado, Arizona, or Florida
