📋 Description

• Create, engineer, and produce door and hardware specifications for commercial building applications • Recommend door and hardware solutions for security, aesthetics, sustainability, and accessibility requirements • Design electrified access control product and software systems for door openings • Work with Architectural Sales Representatives to support customer experience and deliver project deliverables on time • Assist with project submittal reviews and substitution approval processes • Use Salesforce.com for customer relationship management, project tracking, and time management • Support architectural firms and design professionals with technical, functional, and code-compliant door opening applications

🎯 Requirements

• Location in the Western US; California preferred • Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for selling door opening solutions • Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and accurate • Ability to manage multiple tasks, time, and projects proficiently • Strong communication, active listening, and negotiation skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to read and understand specifications and facility standards • Industry-related technical and sales aptitude • Ability to travel and meet customer requirements • Ability to work in a home office environment or while traveling • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material • College/university degree, preferably in architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar, or minimum high school/GED diploma with commensurate work experience • Minimum 2–3 years of industry-related experience with openings, such as commercial locksmithing, door frames/hardware installation, contractor’s license for installation, or CHD project management with school, healthcare, or institutional facilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools • Experience utilizing and maintaining CRM tools for sales and activity reporting • Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus
