📋 Description

• Lead, train, and supervise the payment posting team to ensure accurate and timely posting of electronic and manual payments • Oversee the download and posting of insurance and patient payments • Monitor and balance daily, weekly, and monthly payment postings • Review and approve client monthly spreadsheets and reporting • Ensure timely closure of folders and resolution of outstanding items • Oversee handling of denials and aged claims within established timelines • Establish and monitor productivity and quality standards; conduct performance reviews and provide coaching • Identify process improvements and implement best practices • Serve as an escalation point for complex payment posting issues • Collaborate with RCM Account Managers and other departments to address client needs and resolve discrepancies • Lead and participate in department and general staff meetings • Perform other tasks and projects as needed • Report to the VP, Physician RCM

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of payment posting experience, including 3+ years in a lead or supervisory capacity • Strong knowledge of billing, insurance practices, and payment posting procedures • Prior experience supervising or leading a team in a healthcare RCM or billing environment preferred • Experience using NextGen Enterprise Practice Management is required • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are required • Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage client relationships professionally • Ability to work independently as well as lead and support a team environment • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times
