📋 Description

• Lead or play a key role in cross-functional projects, including system implementations, operationalizing new business contracts, and finance modernization initiatives • Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communication • Anticipate risks and proactively resolve issues to keep initiatives on track • Identify and implement opportunities to automate, streamline, and standardize accounting and finance processes using AI-enabled data analytics, workflow automation, anomaly detection, document intelligence, reporting automation, and close process automation • Partner with IT and finance transformation teams on system enhancements, reporting automation, and workflow redesign • Support change management and adoption of new tools and processes, including documentation of processes and controls to improve transparency, scalability, and audit readiness • Ensure automation and AI-enabled solutions include appropriate data quality, documentation, internal control, auditability, and governance considerations • Develop and prepare analytics to review monthly and quarterly financial results, including client-level results • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including variances, trends, and key business performance drivers • Support financial reporting activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP, U.S. Statutory, internal policies, and insurance industry standards • Serve as a trusted finance partner to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders • Lead discussions on accounting interpretations, financial impacts, and risk considerations • Facilitate alignment across teams by identifying issues, proposing solutions, and driving consensus

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, ERP/reporting systems, and AI-enabled finance tools • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control concepts • Demonstrated ability to lead complex work through influence, collaboration, and credibility • Proven experience driving automation, process improvement, or finance transformation initiatives • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large or complex datasets into actionable insights • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership • Technology curiosity and AI fluency • Change management and adoption leadership • Data-driven decision making • Control-oriented transformation mindset • Influencing and stakeholder management • Strategic thinking with strong attention to detail • Process and automation oriented mindset • Accountability, ownership, and independent problem solving • CPA designation helpful • Experience working at large global insurance/financial services companies helpful • 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience helpful
