📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain satellite communication gateway infrastructure supporting low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite networks. • Diagnose and troubleshoot gateway components, including antennas, RF systems, frequency converters, and associated hardware. • Perform testing and analysis using RF diagnostic tools and measurement equipment. • Conduct integration, commissioning, and validation of gateway components to ensure optimal system performance. • Monitor system health and identify corrective actions to minimize operational disruptions. • Provide remote technical support to field locations and operational teams. • Document maintenance activities, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to resolve technical issues. • Support equipment inventory management and asset tracking. • Travel domestically and internationally to support installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities as required.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field. • Relevant satellite communications certifications (e.g., VSAT, SatCom, or similar) preferred. • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Field Engineer, Satellite Technician, Network Engineer, or similar technical role. • Experience supporting communications infrastructure, RF systems, or related technologies. • Experience working with satellite communication systems and gateway infrastructure. • Knowledge of RF technologies, antenna systems, and frequency conversion equipment. • Proficiency using RF test and measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers and signal generators. • Experience performing system integration, commissioning, and testing activities. • Familiarity with networking concepts, IP-based communications, and telecommunications infrastructure. • Experience supporting geographically distributed or remote operational sites. • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
