• Develop and maintain scientific relationships with hematology/cell therapy thought leaders, investigators, and appropriate HCPs across academic and community centers • Engage in scientific exchanges with multidisciplinary teams, including hematologists/oncologists, cell therapy physicians, APPs, pharmacists, apheresis and cell processing staff, and nursing • Respond to unsolicited requests for scientific and product information according to company policy • Serve as a trusted scientific advisor, peer, and expert to internal stakeholders and external HCPs • Educate cell therapy provider teams on disease state, CAR-T mechanism of action, multiple myeloma therapeutic landscape, safety and clinical management, manufacturing processes, and infusion-center and patient-management data • Support implementation of cell therapy infusions in cell therapy infusion centers • Gather and synthesize site-level insights and communicate them to medical leadership and relevant internal partners • Identify data and educational gaps to inform medical affairs strategy and address unmet patient needs • Identify opportunities for disease-state initiatives, collaborative research projects, and investigator-sponsored research • Collaborate with stakeholders across Medical Affairs, Commercial, and R&D • Support and represent Medical Affairs at congresses and scientific meetings through scientific exchange, medical booth coverage, and sharing scientific and competitive insights
• Advanced scientific degree required (i.e. PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA or NP) in a relevant health science or clinical discipline • 5+ years of experience in hematology/oncology, with at least 2 years in a field medical or equivalent scientific engagement role • Experience preferably in cell therapy and/or multiple myeloma • Ability to express ideas clearly in written documentation, one-on-one conversations, and small group dialogues • Ability to distill complexity into key messages and scientific narrative for internal/external stakeholders • Experience supporting the development and/or launch of a new pharmaceutical product in the U.S. • Experience operating in a matrixed environment with cross-functional partners in Medical Affairs, Commercial, and R&D • Ability to travel 40–60% domestically by car, train, and plane • Preferred: doctorate degree with oncology/hematology specialization • Preferred: direct knowledge, experience, and expertise in Hematology/Oncology Cell Therapy • Preferred: experience working with headquarters and implementing HQ plans in the field • Working knowledge of FDA and GMP requirements, industry rules, and regulations governing cell therapy quality manufacturing and field-based medical roles • Must live within the Seattle and San Francisco territory
