📋 Description

• Deliver instruction to students across several grades in digital education settings • Determine instructional techniques, strategies, and methods, and adapt curriculum and learning styles to student needs • Communicate with parents/guardians about academic and discipline issues through phone calls, notes, progress reports, and other media • Perform clerical duties, including logging communication in SIS and finalizing grades • Develop activities, resources, strategies, methods, and lesson plans aligned with learning objectives and school guides • Assess and evaluate student performance, behavior, progress, and comprehension of learning objectives • Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information • Contribute to professional growth of self and colleagues and stay current with educational trends • Work collaboratively to achieve the overall purposes of the school program • Maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning • Meet regular and predictable attendance requirements as assigned by the manager • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Post Bachelors in Education from an accredited college or university • Valid State Teaching Certificate from any state; appropriate endorsements may be required depending on the area of instruction • Passed appropriate AEPA or NES proficiency exams, if applicable • Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience • Equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education may be considered • Satisfactory criminal background check • Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card • Ability to articulate, represent professional demeanor, and take initiative • Command of theoretical knowledge of human behavior and learning, including motivation, reinforcement, evaluation, and feedback techniques • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with teachers, parents, students, alumni, corporate partners, vendors, and admissions personnel • Proven ability to report regularly and punctually • Proven written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and planning skills • Effective problem-solving and self-motivated learning • Ability to use instructional adaptive technology tools in online courses • Proficiency with technology, computers, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) • Must meet the physical demands of the position, with reasonable accommodations available
