📋 Description

• Assist in designing, developing, revising, and implementing security training curricula, lesson plans, instructor guides, and related materials • Schedule and coordinate training sessions across multiple sites and time zones • Maintain annual training calendars and coordinate instructors, facilities, ranges, equipment, and logistics • Deliver in-person and remote training in firearms proficiency, defensive tactics, verbal de-escalation, and report writing • Support certification and recertification processes • Conduct practical exercises, scenario-based training, tabletop exercises, and performance evaluations • Maintain centralized training documentation, licenses, certifications, schedules, and reports • Maintain records for 110+ security and weapons licenses, 26 state licenses, certifications, schedules, and monthly reports • Develop and enforce document templates, style guides, and version-control protocols • Ensure training records are audit-ready and compliant with client, regulatory, and quality-assurance requirements • Book travel and track training expenditures and resource utilization within approved budgets • Monitor training effectiveness through site audits and conduct compliance audits • Liaise between program management and site security teams • Identify training gaps and recommend corrective actions • Provide on-site support during new-site mobilizations, contract transitions, and regional training events • Travel up to 40% to support continuity and operations across client sites

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, military, or related fields • Certified firearms, defensive tactics, and/or de-escalation instructor, such as POST, NRA Law Enforcement, or PPCT • Experience managing multi-site training programs and coordinating schedules across time zones • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, LMS, and training record management systems • Experience preparing lesson plans, reports, SOPs, and training documentation • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and training management systems • Ability to travel domestically up to 40% and work flexible hours as needed • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass background and drug screenings • Preferred: enterprise-level corporate security program experience • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or a related field • Preferred: familiarity with private security contracts, government, and military standards • Preferred: experience with LMS and online training platforms • Preferred: familiarity with state licensing requirements for armed security personnel across multiple jurisdictions • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation • Job may require standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods • Occasional exposure to extreme environmental conditions
